As I write the story of the 1862 summer campaign of the 10th Kentucky Partisan Rangers in western Kentucky, and edit the diary of John F. Locke, I will be progressing through projects that I have never attempted before. Not only will this journey be a story in and of itself, but it will be a juggling act that I will have to master. On top of these writing pieces, I am also a husband to an amazing wife, father to a three year old and newborn boys who bring more joy than I could ever imagine, and an 8th grade US History teacher to some pretty cool kids.
My goal is to have one of these finished by 2019, and I believe that is an attainable goal. It leaves me about three months, and in that time I should be able to complete the necessary research and send the manuscript to a respectable publisher. If you ever have questions or comments about these projects, I would love to hear from you!
